Project Description
This new facility in the north west of Ireland will have world-class services and will complement and enhance existing public services in the region. The proposed development will be a 12,000m2 building spread over three storeys. The planned hospital will house seventy in-patient beds and twenty day beds.
TPE Consulting Engineers Services Wyndale Clinic provides a radiation-oncology service, including the specialist care of two linear accelerators. The hospital will have four surgical theatres, renal dialysis and a diagnostic department with X-ray, CT Sim, MRI and possibly PET scan equipment. Services will also include general surgery, endoscopy, orthopaedics and a range of other surgical services. There will also be general and sub-speciality medical services. There is provision for physiotherapy, primary care, minor injuries treatment, urgent care and a range of outpatient facilities, as well as ten consultant suites. When fully operational, Wyndale Clinic will employ up to 300 staff. The facilities available at the new hospital will include:
